A. R. Holds Annual Meeting The annual meeting of the Skokie Valley chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was held on Monday at the home of Mrs. Emory Andrews in Winnetka, with a large attendance to greet the return of the regent, Mrs. Fannie Cope, who has been in Florida during most of the winter season. Mrs. Cope gave a very interesting and complete report of the National convention of the D.A.R. held in Washington, giving a clear idea of the attitude of this organization in many points recently aired by publicity. This report, together with business and reports of various chairmen of committees, formed the program of the day. New members were elected to fill places of officers whose terms are expiring at this time. Mrs. Cope was re-elected as regent; Mrs. Harry Har- rison, first vice-regent; Mrs. Edwin Hedrick, recording secretary; Mrs. Clyde Ross, auditor. In June the chapter will have a luncheon to honor the regents of the different Chicago chapters and the chapters of the nearby suburbs. On the social committee for the occasion are Mrs. Rufus Stolp and Mrs. Bently McCloud. Mrs. Leland Danforth was taken into the chapter as a new member. Mrs. Thomas Coyne of Melrose ave- nue, Kenilworth, entertained on Fri- day of last week at a very beautiful luncheon and bridge. --0-- The Freshman class at New Trier entertained the seniors at a dance in the Mess hall after school Tuesday.
