Winn. 1848 HUBBARD WOODS Northmoor Club Begins Thursday Dinner Dances The first Thursday evening dinner dance of the season of the Northmoor Country club was held June 7, at 7:30 o'clock. Lipsey's orchestra furnished the music. The women's flag tourna- ment was held Friday, June 8, at 10 in the morning. The coming events in the men's golf include the "Fewest Putts Tourna- ment" to be held this afternoon at 2:00. Prizes will be awarded to the men having the fewest total putts on the full eighteen hole round, and to the winners of the "Lucky Partner's Team tournament." Entries for this tourna- ment will be taken at the tee. There will be a handicap, and eighteen holes of medal play. After all the scores have been posted names will be drawn in pairs, after which their total net scores will be added, and the pair having the lowest total net score will win the tournament. Miss Margery Windes, 873 Spruce street, returned to her home last Thursday evening.
