a June 30, 1928 WINNETKA TALK 45 Wilmette Golf Club Has Fourth of July Program The semi-final round in the grounds committee trophy tournament at the Wilmette Golf club will be held this morning. It will be eighteen holes play, handicap by holesup system. There will also be a low net foursome Sunday morning, eighteen holes, medal play, handicap. In the afternoon a two- ball mixed foursome, eighteen holes, medal play, handicap will be run off. The play for July 4 will include a driving contest, class handicap, and flag contest. In the driving contest each class will drive from the first tee in regular play either in the morning or the afternoon. The class handicap to be played in the morning is an eighteen holes, medal play, handicap event. There will be a prize for low gross and one each for low net in classes A, B, C, and D. The flag con- test to be held in the afternoon will be a four-ball forced mix 'em, eighteen holes, medal play, with a handicap al- lowance of one-half of the combined handicaps. Husbands and wives may not play as partners. Mrs. A. J.
