a i --_--_--s Np ------ EE ETT SI SS ICE RR July 14, 1928 WINNETKA TALK 1 Vista del Lago to Dedicate New Fiesta Ballroom Tuesday, July 17, will witness the inauguration of a three-day celebra- tion marking the dedication of Club Vista del Lago's new Fiesta ballroom and Galeria. With the completion of this $100,000 ballroom, Club Vista del Lago now embraces in structure the most colorful club facilities on the north shore, its sponsors declare. Vista's opening, it is anticipated, will be one of those unusual affairs that attract the social life of thé north shore suburbs, from Evanston to Lake Forest. Spanish troubadors, native senoritas, and unusual entertainment will augment the "Old World" illusion so carefully planned throughout the entire club building. An unusual treat awaits members and guests at this Fiesta de Julio in the privilege to hear Miss Rubye McDaniel Bell of Kentucky, lyric so- prano, those in charge of the dedica- tion program announce. Miss Bell's natural dignity, charm and remarkable voice range have won for her national honors. Reception at 6:30, dinner at 8, Cope Harvey's orchestra, entertain- ment, favors--there, in a word, is the program. Louis C. Simmel, executive secretary of Club Vista del Lago, announces the following club staff appointments. David Franklin, membership secretary; Ralph Baker, manager; C. J. Braun, assistant manager.
