TIRE BILLS REDUCED The average motorist's tire bill, at the present time, is costing him but 62.2 per cent of what he paid for tires one year ago, according to a survey just announced by the Automobile Club of Illinois. The average factory price for balloon tires in June was $11,384, compared with $14,045 i in June a year ago. The factory price of cord tires was $8,806 in June of this year, compared with $10,948 in June, 1927.
