haa September 15, 1928 WINNETKA TALK 67 Army Chaplain Solicits Aid in Sunday Services Francis M. Case of Hubbard Woods has been conducting the Sunday morning services at Fort Sheridan for the C. M. T. C, that large body of citizen soldiers drawn from the near- by states, and also teaching the Bible class of the men of the Regular Army for a few Sundays, in the absence of Newell C. Knight who organized this class. Now that the summer training camp is over, these men and as- Sociates are continuing the Sunday morning Bible classes among the en- listed men of the Great Lakes Train- ing station. Chaplain A. V. Simoni of the Fort Sheridan station is anxious to have Protesant services for the men of the regular army and their wives, Sunday mornings, at 9 o'clock, and assistance from north shore ministers or laymen to conduct these services, is being solicited. GIVES BENEFIT BRIDGE A large number of alumnae of St. Patrick's academy living on the north shore attended the benefit bridge given by Mrs. Frederick D. Breit of 422 Es- sex road, Kenilworth Monday for the building fund of the chapel of the new St. Patrick's academy at Des Plaines. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fleager and their four children have returned to their home at 952 Pine stregt after a month's outing in a cottage they rented at Eagle River, Wis. --0-- The R. A.
