Community Drama Club to Present Play Nov. 14-15 "The Classilis Engagement," by Sir John Hankin, is to be the first play presented this year by the Community Drama club on November 14 and 15 at the Community House. The play, which takes place at the country home, Denyham, of a wealthy Englishwoman, presents some very un- usual situations and some splendid characterizations. Mrs. Classilis, a middle aged woman of the upper class invites her son's fiancee, Ethel Borridge, and her mother, for a visit. She believes that when her son sees the girl, who is of a much lower class, in his own home, that he will come to the realization that marriage with her will be impossible. The great wisdom of this excellent mother, who, instead of forbidding her son to marry Ethel, gives him a chance to decide for him- self, is splendidly portrayed. The plot is most unusal and the play is one of the older, better known ones that has been presented in other places many times with great success. The cast for the play is working under the direction of Mrs. Sherman Goble. Get the Habit -- Watch our Windows They'll keep you informed on what's happen- ing in the world of style for men.
