Mothers and fathers of freshman and sophomore students at the high school turned out in large numbers to attend the classes, which were held as usual, except that they began at 1:45 in the afternoon and ran through the evening. The purpose of Parents' Day is to acquaint parents with the work of the school. The plan was inaugurated several years ago when Dr. Frederick E. Clerk became superintendent at New Trier.
