WINNETKA TALK November 24, 1928 MOVES STUDIO Edna Vognild, sister-in-law of Mrs. Alphonse Dennis, Jr., of 1044 Tower road, has moved her studio to 231 East Superior street, where she is now hold- ing her annual exhibition of portraits and landscapes. A figure painting by Mrs. Vognild was purchased recently for the permanent collection of Illinois art at the Springfield museum. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Plumley of 302 Walnut street have taken up their residence in West Minneapolis. Alfred M. Plumley is living at 565 Orchard lane, Winnetka. Reverse Gear Causes Odd Accident to Car While driving a car on Linden ave- nue near Merrill, Hubbard Woods, last Saturday afternoon, Ed Nelson, of Geneva, in shifting gears accidentally threw the car into reverse. Mrs. J. A. Grant, of 266 Harbor street, Glencoe, who was driving a short distance in the rear of the Nelson car, was unable to avoid a collision. Norman Headla Seeks His Buddy, Harold Goodreds Norman Headla, of Waukesha, Wis., is seeking the present whereabouts of Harold Goodreds, formerly of Winnet- ka, with whom he served in the Navy, as a member of Company J at Great Lakes in 1917. In a letter to Win- netka Post No. 10, American Legion, Mr. Headla says he is very desirous of locating his former comrade that he may aid him in support of his claim.
