Village officials wish to explain that this condition was caused by the re- versal of flow in the mains, resulting 'rom the Winnetka system being sup- plied for a few hours by the Village of Glencoe. This was done in order to give the Glencoe plant a sufficient load to test out the capacity of the pumping equip- ment. Arrangements have been made by the two villages whereby one is pre- pared to supply the other with water in case of emergency. Games may be left in the office of Community House.
