The Little | Symphony appears under auspices of the New Trier Orchestral association. XMAS "GOOD TURN" What may our troop do as a Christ- mas "Good Turn' that will really make some body happy? Second Concert of Surette Series to Be Held on Monday The second concert of a series of five concerts in Winnetka financed by the Music Fund in Boston, and spon- sored by Thomas Whitney Surette, will be given in the public schools of the village next Monday by a quintet of artist singers under the direction of Eric De Lamarter, assistant director of the Chicago Symphony orchestra and organist and musical director at the Fourth Presbyterian church in Chicago. . The quintet will sing the William 3yrd mass. Anna Burmeister, of Win- netka, soprano, W. Chester Ewers, of Northwestern university, first tenor, Fugene Dressler, second tenor, and John MacDonald, bass, are members of the quintet. The singers are well known as Chicago artists. They are scheduled to appear at the Hubbard Woods school at 10:30, Horace Mann at 11:15, Skokie at 12:45 and Greeley at 1:30. At the Skokie school the girls' glee club will sing a prelude to the regular concert. Insurance Company Finds Valuable Lost Necklace A valuable pearl necklace lost by Mrs. E. H. Bagley, of 240 Chestnut street, while she was shopping in the loop Wednesday morning was located later by insurance company operatives. A waiter in Maillard's tea room on Michigan avenue, where Mrs. Bagley ate lunch, had found the necklace on the floor near Mrs. Bagley's table. It was thought that the necklace was lost when Mrs. Bagley removed her coat.
