14 WINNETKA TALK December 15, 1928 Four Xmas Assemblies At Hubbard Woods Next Week Four Christmas assemblies are to be held at the Hubbard Woods school next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:30 a. m. and on Friday at 2 p. m. The assembly on Tuesday will be Christmas chorales of Bach, prepared by Mrs. Elizabeth Starr's music appreciation classes. A medieval Christmas of the fourteenth century in old England is to be given by Miss Olga Leap's and Miss Bernice Helff's sixth grade rooms on Wednes- day. The Thursday assembly will be a Christmas play, "The Great Walled Country," to be given by Miss Helen Johnson's fifth grade room. On Friday afternoon Christmas carols will be sung by all the children around the school Christmas tree. DORCAS SOCIETY MEETING The Dorcas society of Winnetka will meet Tuesday evening, Decem- ber 18, at the home of Mrs. Ida Em- erson at 1040 Oak street.
