Club Will Have Christmas Program The Chicago and North Western Railway Woman's club will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, December 19, at 2 o'clock in the after- noon, when a Yuletide program will be given. Mrs. Fern Lathrop, Mrs. Ruth Chambers, and Miss Lydia Ringle of the Chicago and North Western Choral club will lead the Christmas carols. Mrs, J. A. Peabody will entertain with a Christmas story and Mrs. Fred Radcliffe will sing a solo. Mrs. N. M. Breeze, chairman, will be one of the hostesses. Tenth District to Begin Series of Radio Programs The Tenth District of Illinois Fed- eration of Women's clubs will broad- cast over the radio a series of pro- grams, beginning December 17. The department of civil service will broadcast the first program from 1:30 to 1:45 o'clock from station WBBM. Mrs. N. C. Burnham, 6829 Lakewood avenue, Chicago, is chairman. Wednesday, the art department, of which Mrs. F. E. Wallis, 201 N. Stew- art avenue, Libertyville, is chairman, will broadcast from station KYW at 11:45 in the morning.
