Lake Hamlin Campers Hold Annual Reunion This Week About eighty-five persons attended the annual reunion dinner of all camp- ers who have attended "Chief" J. W. F. Davies' Indian Hill camp near I.ud- ington, Mich. The dinner was held at Community House Wednesday night at 6 o'clock. Dr. Davies and Dr. George Eisenbrand showed motion pictures taken at the camp. The program also included camp songs and stunts and brief talks by some of the old campers and by "Chief" Davies. Miss Mildred Olson was program chairman. George Maxwell and William Brackett had charge of the decoration of the assem- bly room where the dinner was held. Two Communion services will be observed in St. John's Lutheran church at the passing of the Old Year and the beginning of the New Year. The first service will be held New Year's Eve beginning at 7:15 o'clock, and the second celebration New Year's morn- ing at 9:45 o'clock. Alumni Cage Squad Wins From Student Country Day Entry In one of the most exciting games ever played in the North Shore Coun- try Day school gym, the Alumni bas- ketball team trounced the student squad 24 to 23, this week. The game was close throughout the lighter Country Day team matching its super- jor team work against the Alumni squad's more experienced play. The first quarter started well for the North Shore entry as they scored twice in this period. The student squad led at the quarter and enjoyed a 15 to 10 advantage at the half. The alumni came back strong after the rest period and grabbed the lead as the third quarter ended.
