TUESDAY The third annual meeting of the members of the Juvenile Protective Association of the North Shore will be held in the Assembly room at Com- mittee House, Tuesday evening, at 8 o'clock. The meeting of the Board of Local Improvements for the discussion of the paving of Sheridan road Monday even- ing was adjourned to May 17th. Messrs. Maynard, Kroeschell and Ru- dolph were appointed as a committee to look up the matter of brick in pref- erence to other material for the pave- ment and report on the same at the next meeting. MACHINES COLLIDE ON ELM ST. Two automobiles collided on Elm Street, Monday, but neither of the ma- chines carried a passenger and the damage was slight. ON JURY SERVICE. Arthur Rudolph is serving on the arand Jury now in session in the County Court building. PROPERTY OWNERS' CONTRACTS. The Board of Local Improvements reports it has secured contracts for property owners adjoining the stub ends of Willow, Cherry and Oak streets, to improve these streets with- out cost to the village, the same to be undertaken as soon as the weather permits. INFANT WELFARE AT CHICAGO COMMONS. The Winnetka Branch of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has taken over the entire charge of the station at Chicago Commons. There are 21 of these stations now, located in the congested districts of this city, and ours, at Chicago Commons, is one of the largest. EASTER AT CHRIST CHURCH. The organ at Christ Church, which is being built over, will be ready for use on Easter Day, April 4th. Beau- tiful music has been prepared for all the Easter services, but especially for the great service of the day, which is held at 7 a. m. at the church. All who desire to come will be heartily welcome, and the church will be crowded full as usual at this service. The seats are free and unappropri- ated. The later services will be at 10:45 a. m. and at 3:30 p. m. NOTICE.
