McCORMICK AS REGENT Senator from Illinois Named Re- gent of Famous Research In- stitution by Vice-President. Senator Medill McCormick of Iili- nois, at the suggestion of Senator Lodge of Massachusetts, has been appointed by the vice president a re- gent of the Smithsonian institution.
