Paul- son, to Mr. Hugh G. Bersie of Evanston, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Bersie of Kansas, to take place on Saturday evening of next week, at the Paulson home, 715 Washington avenue, Wil- mette. Rev. Stephen A. Lloyd, pastor of the Congregational church of Wilmette, will read the service at 8:30 o'clock. Ad Plans for the Boys' and Girls' camp at Lake Hamlin, under the su- pervision of Rev. J. W. F. Davies and Community House, are now quite well formulated and competent councillors have been engaged for both camps. There will be a trained nurse at the girls' camp, in the person of Miss Fahs, assistant to the director at the Training school for Nurses at the Evanston hospital. Another interesting and notable announcement is that Miss Hilda Salveson and an assistant 'will be in charge of the cooking, hence the youngsters are assured of excellent meals. Mrs. E. W. Wortley and Miss Anne Foster have also been added to the corps of councillors. The list of councillors for the boys' camp is not as yet complete. This year the camp, which is located on Lake Hamlin near Ludington, has been fully equipped. The tents all have board floors, and instead of sleeping on the floors this year, iron cots have been provided, through the results of the benefit card party and plays recently held at the Woman's club. The boys will leave Chicago on Monday, June27, aboard the steam- ship. "Puritan", and returning, will arrive in Chicago on Saturday, July 16. The girls will leave on Monday, July 18, ind returning, ar- rive in Chicago, Saturday, August 6. The marriage of Miss Helen Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Roberts of Wilmette, to Mr. Charles Phillips Glennon, was solemnized on Wednesday of this week, in Albuquer- que, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Glennon are planning to spend the next few months on a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. Among those who attended the wedding were Mrs. Charles Roberts, the bride's mother, and her aunt, Mrs. Lyman Drake of Wilmette. Miss Roberts attended New Trier high school. 4 Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Stevens of Highland Park, formerly of Glen- coe, and very well known on the north shore, announce the engage- ment of their daughter, Kathryn Louise, to Webster N. It will be held under the auspices of the King's Daughters, St. Mark's Guild and Northwestern Settlement, three of the largest charitable organ- izations on the north shore. Parker Gowing, 739 Lincoln avenue, sailed from New York on Tuesday for an extended trip in Europe. They will first go to London, to witness the golf cham- pionship games, in which our own "Chick" Evans of Chicago, is to com- pete, and later will tour England, France and Spain. Miss Maud Hinman will return home early next week from a six week's sojourft in the south and east, where she spent several weeks with her brother, Captain George Hinman, Jr., in Washington, D, C. and later visited a friend in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
