Harris and a Winnetka wom- an, dedicate the beautoful new club piano. The entire program was given by Mrs. Harris who played with such vitality in her tone that the interest of her audience was held from the moment she began to play. A keen sense of rhythm, gives a style to her playing and the atmospheric quality in the palmgren numbers made them exquisite. The Chopin mazurka was received with great pleasure as that beautiful number is seldom heard. The afternoon was one to be re- membered. The increasing attendance at these musical meetings shows that Winnetka. loves music. The next meeting, December 14, is in charge of Mrs. Harvey I. Brewer. The subject is "American Music", which promises to be a very interesting program. er er Mrs. Lorenzo Johnson and Mrs. Merritt Starr started for Washing- ton, D.
