DEBATERS AT NEW TRIER PONDER ARMS PROBLEMS Questions arising before the dis- armament conference at Washington are to be considered as well, at New Trier Township High school, where the school debaters, recently organ- ized with Dwight Chapman as chair- man, are planning to hold regular sessions and debate the many ques- tions as they are brought before the statesmen now in conference. Fach week certain members of will be selected to lead the debates. The organization meets every Tues- day evening after school hours in the Science lecture room at the school. Four members of the faculty, Miss Payton, Miss Ulrich, Mr. Hutchens and Mr. Pifer are the sponsors. The club hopes to enter interscholastic debates later in the school year.
