ADVENTURE LA 01S SL JE 1 Embark on Dream Girl as Vanguard of Larger Party At daybreak Wednesday morning, June 21, twelve north shore boys will set out on a cruise of adventure in Northern Wisconsin. The twelve will be the vanguard of a party of thirty, bound for Adventure Island, the camp for boys conducted by Charles A. Kinney. In Wilmette harbor the forty-foot cruiser, Dream Girl, which will carry twelve of the boys to camp, rides to her anchor, the black flag with skull and cross-bones lying from her truck. For weeks the boys have been working with feverish expectancy overhauling her and getting her in commission. With this season's run, the Dream Girl will have cruised more than 20,- 000 miles on Lake Michigan, Huron and Superior, equivalent to four- fifths of the distance around the world. The boys divide into watches of two hours each, half of which time is usually spent eating, half doing a trick at the wheel.
