Daniels, left Wednsday for the east to visit relatives before sailing from Montreal May 4 to spend the summer in Europe. --r-- Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Gardner, 456 Surf street, Chicago, are being con- gratulated upon the birth of a daugh- ter, Saturday, April 21, at St. Luke's hospital. Mrs. Gardner was formerly Miss Caroline de Windt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heyliger A. deWindt of Sheridan road. --Q-- Proceeds from the benefit card party held a week ago at the Woman's club for the Davies' Camp Fund will amount to about $590 once all the re- turns have been made. Doolittle of 982 Cherry street, announce the engagement of the daughter, Kath- ryn Louise, to Mr. Walter George Traub, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav A. Traub of Milwaukee, Wis.
