Kinney's camp on Adventure Island, Sturgeon Bay, will be made Monday when rep- resentatives of the two groups hold a conference. Every year the two organizations give a party and dance. The proceeds from the affair are used to defray the expenses of one boy or girl for three or.four weeks at one of the Indian Hill camps. On alternate years boys are chosen, girls being picked every other year. This is girl's year. The lucky win- ner of the scholarship will be sent to Indian Hill camp which is under J. Grade School Baseball Teams Open '23 Season The baseball season has opened at the Country Day and Skokie schools. Two leagues have been formed, one for boys and one for girls. Skokie has five teams in the Girls' league and four in the boys'. North Shore has two teams in the Girls' league and one in the boys'. In the first games of the girls ser- ies the North Shore Iroquois beat out the Skokie Fagles 19 to 17, and the North Shore Chiefs defeated the Sko- kie Seagulls 15 to 5. Skokie was more successful in the boys games. The Skokie Sagamores sent the North Shore team to defeat 12 to 9. The Skokie Stags beat the * Skokie Spartans 22 te 11.
