ASH STREET and CHER- RY STREET between the respective north and south lines thereof and between the southwesterly line and said line extended of the right-of way of the Chicago and North West- ern Railway Company, and a line drawn parallel with and seventy- five (75) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to the said southwesterly line and said line extended of said right-of-way; RIDGE AVENUE, between the east line and the center line thereof, be- tween the southwesterly line and said line extended of the right-or- "way of the icago and North West- ern Railway Company and a line drawn parallel with and seventy-five (75) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to, the said southwesterly line and said line extended of the said right-of-way; OAK STREET, from the east line ex- tended of Lot Thirteen (13) in the Subdivision of Block Thirty-six (36), Winnetka, being a Subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of Section Twenty (20) and the North half of Fractional Section Twenty-one (21), in Town- ship Forty-two (42) North, Range Thirteen (13) East of the Third Prin- cipal Meridian, according to the plat thereof re-recorded in the office of the Recorder of Cook County, Illi- nois, in Book 5 of Plats, at Page 78, as Document Number 119381, to a line thirty (30) feet east of and parallel with the east line extended of Linden Street, be improved in the manner hereinafter particularly described, so that the said proposed improvement shall connect with the existing pavement in the public street west of and adjoining the outhwesterly line of the right-of-way of the NED and North Western Railway Company, connecting Oak Street with Ridge Avenue, and by grubbing, grading, raking and smooth- ing of parkways, excavating, filling with sand, flushing, draining, closing abandoned manholes and catchbasins, moving and relocating fire hydrants, adjusting manholes, adjusting and re- placing sidewalk approaches, and ad- justing and connecting existing pave- ments with the proposed pavement, constructing manholes, catchbasins, and combined man-hole-catchbasins, valve vaults with valves, pedestrian subway with combined ventilating shaft and safety island, and cable guard fence, adjusting and replacing cast iron water pipes, curbing and paving with reinforced concrete a roadway forty- one (41) feet and four (4) inches in width from back to back of integral curb, from the north line of the ex- isting pavement in Winnetka Avenuz, in said Winnetka Avenue, in and across the tracts of land herein pro- vided to be acquired, and in and along Church Road, and in and across Wil- low Street, Ash Street and Cherry Street, to the east line of Ridge Ave- nue; and that the said concrete pave- ment shall be widened along curved lines to meet the existing pavement in Winnetka Avenue at the easterly and westerly lines of that portion of Win- netka Avenue herein provided to be improved as more particularly herein- after described; and that said proposed concrete pavement, at its intersection with Church Road, shall be construct- ed to meet the existing pavement in said Church Road at said line three hundred ninety (390) feet northwest- erly from and parallel with the center line of Elder Lane extended, as meas- ured along the center line of said Church Road; and that the said pro- posed concrete pavement, at its inter- section with Willow Street, shall on the southwesterly side thereof be wid- ened along curved lines to meet the pavement herein proposed to be con- structed in Willow Street, at a line sixty-six (66) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to, the southwesterly line and said line ex- tended of the right-of-way of the Chi- cago and North Western Railway Company, as more particularly herein- after described; and that said proposed concrete pavement in Ash Street and in Cherry Street shall be widened along curved lines to the east to meet the existing pavements in said streets at the southwesterly line extended of the right-of-way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company, as more particularly hereinafter describ- ed; and shall be widened along curved lines to the west to meet the existing pavements in said streets at a line parallel with and seventy-five (75) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to, the southwesterly line and said line extended, of said right-of-way, as more particularly hereinafter described; and that said proposed concrete pavement shall con- nect with the existing bituminous macadam pavement in Ridge Avenue by adjusting and connecting the ex- isting bituminous macadam pavement in Ridge Avenue from the north end of the proposed concrete pavement at the east line of Ridge Avenue with the center line of Ridge Avenue, said cen- ter line of Ridge Avenue being the line of connection of the improvement herein provided for in said Ridge Ave- nue with the existing pavement in the public street lying west of and adjoin- ing the southwesterly line of the right-of-way of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, con- necting Oak Street with Ridge Ave- nue, and by paving with reinforced concrete a roadway in Willow Street thirty-one (31) feet and four (4) inches in width from back to back of integral curb, from the east line ex- tended of Forest Street east to the southwesterly line of the reinforced concrete pavement herein provided to be constructed in and across Willow Street, and by paving with brick upon a concrete foundation, a roadway in Oak Street fifty-one (51) feet and four (4) inches in width from back to back of integral curb, from the existing pavement at the east line extended of Lot Thirteen (13) in the Subdivision of Block Thirty-six (36), Winnetka, where the said proposed brick pave- ment( fifty-one (51) feet and four (4) inches in with shall TR he existing pavement in said public stre i Oak Street with Ridge Ave- nue, to a line thirty (30) feet east of and parallel with the east line ex- tended of Linden Street, and by curing and protecting the proposed pavement and curbing, and by removing founda- tions under buildings located upon the tracts of land to be acquired for such improvement.
