Phone Winnetka 165 Elsie Berg Marries at Congregational Church On Saturday afternoon, October 17, Miss Elsie Berg was married to Clyde James Davis in the Winnetka Con- gregational church, Dr. James A. Rich- ards performing the ceremony. Mrs. Davis, who formerly lived in Bloom- ington, Ill, and who was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the college there, has been a libra- rian for some time in the Winnetka Public library. The wedding was very simple with only members of the family being present. Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Berg of Bloomington, Ill, parents of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. James J. Davis of Lincoln, Ill, parents of the bridegroom, were present. Mr. and Mrs. Davis will make their home with Mrs. Davis' sister, Mrs. Hugo Layer, for the present, but will move into their own apartment, 545 Chestnut street, about December 1. CHAMBER CONCERT SUNDAY The Muenzer Trio is to appear in concert at the Kenilworth club Sun- day afternoon, at 4 o'clock in the first of the series of Chamber concerts. The trio is comprised of Hans Muenzer, violinist; Rudolph Wagner, pianist, and Hans Koelbel, cellist. Tickets may be secured at the door. Chicago Forum Invites To Talk On Prohibition At the first meeting of the Chicago Forum council, to be held at the Apollo theatre in Chicago Sunday afternoon, November 1, F. Ernest Johnson, research secretary of the Federal Council of Churches will dis- cuss prohibition. The subject of the discussion will be "Can Prohibition Succeed?" Mr. Johnson recently aroused the wrath of his fellow drys when he said that prohibition was neither as good nor as bad as it had been pictured. Mrs. B. F. Langworthy is vice-president of the Forum council. AT HORSE SHOW Heyliger A. deWindt of Indian Hill and Arthur Cox of Spruce street are among those who are box holders and reserved parking space at the ring- side at Fort Sheridan's second horse show this year which is taking place Friday and Saturday of this week. There were 28 classes open to exhib- itors in which the committee desired to present the various types of saddle and military horses in the many roles they play today.
