4R WINNETKA TALK November 7, 1925 ------ Speeders Top List in Arrests; Fires Few in Past Month Village Manager H. L. Woolhiser presented the reports for the month of September of the fire and police departments at the council meeting Tuesday evening. The fire report showed that during September there were only two fires, both in motor vehicles. There was no damage reported. There were 19 inspections made and in six cases rec- ommendations for changes were made. The police report showed more than 201 arrests during the month. Of this number 191 were speed and traffic arrests. There were two burglaries, both of which occurred in the day- time when the families were at home. No automobiles were stolen. The health report for October, which was also read, showed that there were only eight cases of contagious disease in Winnetka during the month. There were four cases of chicken-pox, two of diptheria, one of whooping cough and one of mumps. "Protestantism," Theme for St. John's Sermon "Protestantism" will be the sermon theme at St. John's Lutheran church, Wilmette, tomorrow morning.
