The Litahni girls (Miss Spangler's group) challenged the Untalati girls (Mrs. John Marshall's group) to a knot ty- ing contest. The Untalati girls walk- ed away with the honors, Janet Mar- shall winning the highest rank for the group. Following this the groups took up their special work. The Wakantahi group (Mrs. George Eisenbrand, guardian) held a cere- monial meeting in the Camp Fire room and formally received into their group four new members--Virginia Lansing, Dorothy Prouty, Ruth Long and June Heyda. Mrs. Wortley con- ducted the ceremonial, and gave a council talk on "The Spirit of the Fire," applying .it to the seven laws of Camp Fire. The Tatapochon group has had a change in guardians. Pierce, a former Win- netka guardian, is taking Miss Judith Walsh's group for six weeks during her absence in California. Miss Rowe Abplanalp is to assist Mrs. Marshall with her group during the year. DEMONSTRATE FIRST AID The First Aid team of the Public Service company of Northern Illionis gave a demonstration and talk Feb- ruary 1, at New Trier high school, and at Skokie school, February 4. M. Leonard and Jack Riley made the demonstrations and gave very in- teresting and instructive talks on first aid. Miss Olivia Fentress, who has been visiting in the East for the past sev- eral weeks as the guest of her grand- mother, Mrs. J. M. Addeman, of Prov- idence, R. I., is expected to return to her home at 1127 Sheridan road next week. Perry Lieber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice H. Lieber 468 Ridge avenue, will return to the University of Illinois Sunday evening atter spending his short mid-semester vacation at the home of his parents. ---- The Tracy Buckinghams, 838 Locust street, are completing an attractive home in Lake Forest which they, with their small son, George T.
