Voting Is Light in Annual Town Election Tuesday With a total vote of approximately 1470 ballots cast in the township elec- tion last Tuesday residents of New Trier elected to office the New Trier Community ticket, which had no op- position. The vote, according to vil- lages, was as follows: Wilmette, 286; Kenilworth, 24; Winnetka, 991; Glen- coe, 160; country district, 10. The vote this year was less than one half of the total last year, when approxi- mately 3,200 ballots were cast, town- ship officials explained.
