Harris, at the piano, will give a program on "The Art of French Song," next Tuesday, at 11 o'clock, at the Woman's Athletic club of Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Goldstein of New York, parents of Mrs. Hugo Hartmann, 755 Lincoln avenue, and Mrs. E. D. Sax, 838 Lincoln avenue, left Thursday for California, for a two months' stay. They have been visiting in Winnetka for several weeks. Peirce Mrs. Stanley Keith Peirce was Miss Dorothy Day, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lewis Day, formerly of Winnetka, and now of the Ambassador hotel. "This little organization has spread not only to other cities of this nation, but to those of other nations," he said. "When we remember that Art Smith of the Air Mail and E. P. Lett of the National Air Transport, Inc. got their start in aviation through rubber-mo- tored aircraft over 10 years ago, we know that these M. A. F. tournaments are more than mere child's play. "The first tournament, in 1923, had 75 contestants. In 1924 there were 150 fliers with 225 aircraft. And last year (1925) there were approximately 350 fliers with nearly 500 aircraft at the Pier."
