Saban Winnetka Artist Wins Award for Skokie Scene Announcement was made at the Art League dinner held Thursday evening, April 15, of the award received by Hugo Von Hofsten, Winnetka artist, for his painting of a Skokie Landscape on display at the Swedish-American ex- hibit in Chicago. Mr. Von Hofsten drew first prize out of a group of eight paintings, through the impartial decision of a jury of six people, four of whom had never seen the Skokie district but never-the-less could appreciate through the admirable technique and depicting powers of Mr. !
