Write for Free Booklet Clement Ley Is Named Water Superintendent Walter Larsen, superintendent of the Kenilworth Water department, and Charles Lance and Arthur Montenaro, engineers, have resigned, it was learned this week, when the appointment of others to take their places was an- nounced by village officials. Clement C. Ley, former motorcycle policeman in the village, has been named as super- intendent and Arne Mark and E. F. Fellows as engineers. Patrolman V. C. Faulstick has been appointed motor- cycle policeman to take Ley's place. No one has been taken on to fill his position as yet, it was said. Knights of Columbus to Have Communion Sunday Ouilmette Council, Knights of Co- lumbus will celebrate the annual coun- cil communion at St. Joseph's church Sunday morning, May 2. The Rev. Joseph Rubey, chaplain of the council, will be the celebrant and preach the sermon. Breakfast will be served the mem- bers in the basement of St. Joseph's school following the services. Winnetka Architect Is Named to Enter Contest Melville Chatten, 1025 Dinsmore road, of the firm of Chatten and Hammond, Chicago, is one of five architects of the city selected to submit designs for the proposed Architects' building, which is to be a monument to the architectural profession of Chicago. The designs are to be submitted to the executive board of the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the board of directors of the Il- linois Society of Architects, who wil decide the winner.
