Wink of Highland Park, at 9 o'clock, Saturday morning, May 19, became the bride of August Charles Pearson, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Pear- son of 898 Cherry street, Winnetka. Dr. J. D. O'Neil officiated at the cere- mony which was performed in the Im- maculate Conception church in High- land Park. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's par- ents following the service. The bride wore a gown of white taf- feta. Her veil of tulle was wreathed with orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. Her sister, Miss Dorothy Wink, was in a frock of pale green taffeta. She wore a pink picture hat and carried pink roses. Clarence Flymn of Winnetka was Mr. Pearson's best man. Upon their return from their honey- moon trip to New York and Washing- ton, D. C., Mr. Pearson and his bride will be at home after July 1, at 1815 Walnut avenue, Wilmette. PRESENT PLAY TONIGHT The fairy play "Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs," is being presented by the Girl Scouts of Winnetka, Troop No. 1, tonight, at 8 o'clock, in the Win- nétka Woman's club. 'NEW BUICK COMPANY Corporation Receives Charter and Es- tablishes Sales Places in Evanston, Highland Park A charter of incorporation has been granted by Louis I. Emmerson, secre- tary of state, to the North Shore Buick company, with a paid in capital of $50,000. The new firm which was originally founded by John T. FitzGibbons of 805 SY St. John's avenue, Highland Park, six years ago, has established a record of growth among Buick sales agencies. Today it is one of the largest distributors of this make of car in the Chicago territory. Mr. FitzGibbons is named as presi- dent of the new corporation and will also serve as general manager, dividing his time between Evanston and High- land Park, in both of which com- munities sales and service quarters are maintained. Other incorporators are Leonard A. James, vice-president, formerly with the Evanston branch of the Cadillac Motor company, and Alfred C. Houser, secretary, for the last three years ad- vertising . manager of the Yellow Truck and Coach Manufacturing com- pany. In 1921 Mr. Houser was con- nected with the then factory retail sales branch of the Buick Motor com- pany in Evanston. He is well known in the automobile industry. The Evanston sales tooms of the North Shore Buick company, located at 1030 Davis street, are in charge of Mr. James as retail sales manager. He also supervises the service station at 1572 Maple avenue, Evanston. A new building for sales and service has just "recently been completed in Highland Park. It constitutes one of the most pretentious units of the new "motor row" facing the North Western tracks.
