A short drag hunt is also scheduled, if weather permits. The following day, Sunday, the formal opening of the Women's and Children's room in the stables will be held. Tea will be served at 4 o'clock on the lawn under the awning shading the entrance to the room, it was announced. Several events have been scheduled during June. On Saturday, June 35, there will be a special club ride over the hunting country now open. The party will leave the stables at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. A large attendance for this ride is expected. The annual Children's Horse Show will be held Saturday, June 19. This affair is always one of the most inter- esting events on the north shore, and should prove of special interest this vear as pictures of the children will be taken to be preserved in the club archives. It is open to any north shore child who wishes to enter. Names of children who wish to compete in the various classes should be sent to the Indian Hill Riding club, Winnetka, be- fore June 15. RECOVER POLICE DOG Paul Knopp, 3039 Lincoln avenue, Chicago, was arrested last Monday charged with stealing a valuable police dog from Mrs. M. P. Lucchesi, 1065 Spruce street. Knopp is a junk deal- er. The dog was recovered and Knopp was tried before. Police Magistrate By- ron A. Women's Golf Commences Tuesday at Sunset Ridge Tuesday of each week from June 1 until September 28, will be set aside at Sunset Ridge club as "Ladies' Day." Commencing at 9 o'clock, Tuesday morning, the play will be for blind bogy. Mrs. C. C. Kendrick is chairman of the woman's golf committee which is composed of Mrs. I. B. Connor, Mrs. C. Bradley of 808 Willow road has been elected as head of the committee to arrange the women's golf events at Indian Hill club this season.
