EC ---- May 29, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 19 Builders Announce Dance for Evening of Friday, June 4 New Trier chapter, Order of The Builders announces a dance to be held at the Kenilworth club, on the evening of June 4. "To those who have been fortunate enough to attend previous Builders' dances, this should prove wonderful news," declare the officers of the chap- ter. This final dance of the season will "go the others just one better," they promise. Music for the dance will be provided by the College Crew, an organization of musicians favorably known to the young people of the north shore. The Builders is an organization of young men under 21 years of age, whose fathers or older brothers are members of the Masonic fraternity. Its ranks also include boys who, though not of Masonic families, are properly recommended by a member of the order. Twice a year The Build- ers hold public installation in order to give their mothers and sisters an opportunity to witness the ceremony. The next of these public demonstra- tions is scheduled for Monday eve- ning, June 21, at 7:30 o'clock, and will be staged at the Winnetka Masonic temple. There will be dancing at the conclusion of the ceremonies. The New Trier chapter announces, especially, a meeting, Monday evening, June 7, at 7:30 o'clock at the Winnet- ka Masonic temple, at which there will be the conferring of degrees on a group of candidates and the annual election of officers. Bishop Hughes Dedicates Methodist Book Concern Bishop Edwin Holt Hughes of Wil- mette gave an address and dedicated the Methodist Book Concern building at 740 Rush street, Chicago, Monday of this week. The members of the Chicago Methodist Preachers' meeting were the special guests of the Book Concern. The building was presented for dedication by Mr. Henry S. Henschen, Chicago, chairman of the building committee. Chicago now is the center of Methodism in the United States and abroad. WELLESLEY CLUB MEETING The North Shore Wellesley club holds the final meeting of the year Tuesday, June 1, at 2:30, at the home of Mrs. Ralph C. Brown, 1024 Hinman avenue, Evanston, with Mrs. Thomas Lord the co-hostess. Officers will be elected at this time. Mrs. Brown is the newly elected president of the Chicago Wellesley club. CIRCLE PLANS DINNER The Cherry Street circle will give a dinner-bridge =~ Wednesday evening, June 2. Dinner will be served at the Cardinal Tea room, and bridge will be played at the home of Mrs. Harry Cadenhead. Mrs. C. P. Jaedecke and Mrs. E. Irving Belote are in charge of the dinner and entertainment. Mrs. Harry Cadenhead, Mrs. O. Kastrup and Mrs. Charles Coyle are in charge of the games. Mrs. Charles C. Elliott and Mrs. Carl E. Roth are in charge of reservations. Oe On June 11, Mrs. Carlton Prouty will be hostess to the members of the Winnetka chapter, Order of Eastern Star, at her home at McHenry, on the Fox river.
