The building contains many relics, among them the famous seamless or Holy Coat, said to have been worn by Jesus Christ. According to the legend the Empress Helena brought it to Treves in 1106. The mem- bers are chosen on the basis of their scholarship, character and participa- tion and prominence in student activ- ities. They are selected by the deans with the advice of the entire faculty. Each year sixteen juniors and eight seniors are given this honor. AIDS STUDENTS OF GERMAN The German club has been organ- ized by the students of the German department at New Trier high school for the purpose of giving attention to German literature and music, and se- curing conversational practice.
