The furniture and equipment for the children's rooms has been installed, and following the in- spection, tea will be served in the alumnae club room by members of the faculty of the Children's school. Miss Clara Baker of Evanston, who conducted the demonstration school of the college in Chicago, until the re- moval to Evanston, is the director of the school, and Misses Margaret Far- rar, Willmina Townes, Florence Rice, [Laura Hooper, Violet Rush, Nellie Ball, Virginia Solberry and Gladys Johnson are included in the list of ex- perienced teachers for the summer term and the following year. IMPROVE BOOKS FOR BLIND Alfred Allen of the Hadley Cor- respondence School for the Blind, re- turned June 4, from New York, where he attended a seven-day conference of publishers of books for the blind. Mr. Allen reports new discoveries of machinery permitting the printing of Braille raised letters on two sides of a sheet. While yet in the process of improvement, such machinery is being worked on constantly, Mr. Allen said. Builders to Hold Installation on Monday, June 21 The Builders announce a public in- stallation of officers to be held at the Winnetka Masonic temple Monday evening, June 21, at 8 o'clock. The ceremonies will be in charge of John Sutton, installing grand master builder. Preceding the installation the Build- ers will confer the second degree on a group of candidates.
