June 19, 1926 WINNETKA TALK Pupils' Recital The Winnetka branch of the Co- lumbia School of Music will give the final recital of the season Monday evening, June 21, at 7:30 o'clock, at the Winnetka Woman's club. Miss Helen Taylor, 310 Cumnor road, Kenilworth, entertained at tea Sunday evening, June 13. Her guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Oberteuf- fer and their son and daughter, and several other friends who attend the Art Institute and who study painting under Mr. Oberteuffer. RI. Mr. and Mrs. Giles Weiss (Gladys Madsen) have returned from their honeymoon trip in the East, and are at home at their residence, 1317 Estes avenue, Rogers Park. Ome A few members of the Indian Hill circle recently visited the Hinsdale Rescue Home, for which the circle members have been sewing during the year. Kenilworth Field Day Winners Get Cups and Medals Engraved silver loving cups were presented to boys and girls in each of three classes who were the high point winners in the annual field day of the Joseph Sears school, Kenilworth, last week. Those who received the cups were as follows: Arthur McIntosh and Jane Scott in class A (over 100 pounds); Bob Hutchens and Marjorie Thorsen in class B (85-100 pounds); Woodrow Wilson and Ruth Johnston, Juniors (under 85 pounds). Sterling silver medals for second high point winners in the various classes were presented to Carl Schroe- der, Charlotte Hamilton, Hilda Swan- son, George Scott, Marjorie Smythe, Claude Phillips, and Jane McIntosh. Bronze medals for third high point winners will go to Tom Hicks, Eunice Wilson, Hinman Bisbee, Agnes Fraser, Alexander Newton, Teallie Wilson. The cups and medals are donated by Kenil- worth citizens and were presented by Robert Townley, director of physical education in the Kenilworth school. This was the seventh annual field day held by the school. Mr. and Mrs. Whipple Jacobs, for- merly of Evanston, are now occupy- ing the residence they purchased from the Ernst von Ammons at 420 Elder lane. ---- Mrs. M. G.
