or ALN July 17, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 33 Ash and Cherry Circles ALUMNAE ARRANGE TEA | Winnetka Boys at Camp TO ANNOUNCE DANCE The Alumnae association of the The Scandinavian Pleasure club, Give Children's Party The Ash and Cherry Street circles entertained thirty children from the Chicago Commons on the Winnetka beach Tuesday. A box luncheon was served and ice cream cones furnished. The water was fine for bathing, al- though the air was cool, and the chil- dren spent most of their time in and on the edge of the lake. Three instruc- tors accompanied the group and took them back to Chicago at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Joseph J. Sauer, Jr., 1022 Ash street, chairman of the Ash Street circle, and Mrs. Charles G. Coyle, 1097 Cherry street, acting chairman of the Cherry Street circle, were in charge of the party. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Bucher, 983 Willow road, left Thursday, July 15, for a two weeks' motor trip in Wis- consin. National Kindergarten and Elementary college will entertain the summer school students at tea in the Alumnae club room, Harrison hall, on Thursday afternoon, July 22. A short talk on he purpose of the association by Mrs. Harry G. Phillips, president elect, will be followed by a group of songs by Mrs. Joseph Risch, and the serving of refreshments. Miss Nellie Ball, social chairman, is in charge of arrangements for the afternoon. Mr. Taylor's brother, Dudley, a re- cent high school graduate, is traveling from Florida with the map man of the Dixie Highway, working as they go. He is expected to arrive in Winnetka any day to visit his aunt and uncle. Dudley Taylor will enter the State University of Florida next fall. Sosawagaming, Michigan Several Winnetka boys are spending the summer at Camp Sosawagaming, 3ig Bay, Mich, located on Lake Superior, on the northern edge of Michigan. Miss Seville Rudolph, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rudolph, 889 Cherry street, is leaving July 22, for a four weeks' trip through the West. Accompanied by a friend from Chi- cago, Miss Rudolph plans to include Yellowstone Park, Salt Lake City and many other points of interest in her trip.
