Kindergarten and Elementary college last Friday afforded a delightful hour's entertainment to the students and friends of the college who attended. Miss Hemingway told several un- usual stories for children--"The Rab- bit Who Thought the Earth Was Tumbling Ir," a Hindu version of the Anglo-Saxom "Chicken Little," "The Wishing Ring," and the old favorite "Briar Rose." She also gave a reading from Kate Dquglas Wiggin's "Garden of Memory" which will no doubt be for many a happy introduction to the hook. Miss Kassabova gave some of the old songs of her country, very old in [their weird, minor accompaniment, but neither old nor new in their romantic content as translated by Miss Kassa- bova. ENTERTAINS FOR HUSBAND Members of the families, and inti- mate friends were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall of 112 Green Bay road last Thursday at a surprise dinner given by Mrs. Marshall for her husband in honor of his birthday. Mrs. Marshall presented her husband with a miniature portrait done on ivory of their daughter, Janet.
