Three blocks of Thirteenth street, as a section, leads in this activity. At the southeast corner of Thirteenth street and Greenwood avenue, North Shore Homes, Inc., is completing for Herbert Bach, of Chicago, a $50,000 home. At the northwest corner of Thir- teenth street and Greenwood avenue, James Crabb is completing a pretty $20,000 brick home for N. A. McNa- mara. At the southwest corner of Thir- teenth street and Ashland avenue, Mr. Crabb also is just finishing a very pretty nine room brick house for George Bennett, of Wilmette. Ground was broken last week for a $35,000 home at the northwest corner of Thirteenth street and Ashland ave- nue, which Halvarson & Alonquist are building for John R. Willott, of Chicago. At the northeast corner of Seventh street and Lake avenue, Louis Miller, builder, is erecting an $18,000 home for H. L. Jenkins. The southwest corner of Eleventh street and Chestnut avenue, is being developed with a $23,000 home, which R. E. Crosby, the Winnetka builder is erecting for Frank P. Kutten, of Evanston. Henry N. Gage Residence Purchased for $47,500 The Henry N Gage residence at the northwest corner of Twelfth street and Greenwood _avenue, has been sold to W. C. Farrar, also of Wilmette. The sale was made by Mr. Gage, direct, who, it is said, received the price at which he has been holding the prop- erty, $47,500 It is one of the finest corners in the village, having a front- age of two hundred feet on Green- wood and a depth of 17614 feet. The property is improved with a large twelve-room stucco house. The Gages, upon giving possession about the mid- dle of September, will take an apart- ment in Chicago, on the north side.
