E. Bell Wisconsin Wed in August Mrs. Edward H. Naylor was Miss Theda Ellison, daughter of Mrs. G. T. Ellison of Evanston, until her marriage Saturday, August 28. The ceremony was performed at the bride's home be- fore a gathering of relatives. Mrs. Naylor, a former resident of Winnet- ka, attended New Trier High school. Upon returning from their honeymoon trip to Mackinac Island, Detroit and Aldena, Ohio, the home of the bride- groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Naylor will reside in Evanston with Mrs. Nay- lor's mother. North Shore Line Has Fastest Electric Train The fastest electric railroad train in the United States is the Northland Limited, running between Chicago and Milwaukee, according to a survey made by Electric Traction. This train, operated by the Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee railroad over its new Skokie Valley route, covers the 88.24 miles in two hours, making 9 stops en route. This train averages 44.12 miles per hour, including stops, or 51.91 miles per hour, not including stops. Lusk Plays in Colorado Return From Tour Abroad Upon his return for a European con- cert tour last week, Milan Lusk, vio- linist residing at 810 Michigan avenue, Wilmette, left immediately for Colo- rado where he was heard in two re- citals, one at the State university in Boulder, and the other in the city au- ditorium in Colorado Spring. In the latter place, he was heard by an audi- ence estimated at close to four thou- sand people. Milan Lusk will accept a few earnest violin students for private instruction at his home studio in Wilmette. Sched- ules are now being arranged and those interested should make early applica- tion. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SERVICE The lesson sermon at First Church of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday morn- ing, September 5, will be "Man." Services will be held in the Masonic temple at 708 Elm street, at 11 o'clock, Sunday school at 9:35 o'clock and the testimonial meeting is held on Wed- nesday evening, at o'clock. The Christian Science reading room at 526 Linden street, is open daily from 12 until 6 p. m. HOME FROM VACATION Mr. and Mrs. William Schwall of 979 Willow road returned Friday of last week from a two weeks' trip in Wisconsin, where they visited friends in Chippewa Falls and spent a week at Pleasant Lake. They were accom- panied by Mrs. Schwall's father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Balmers, and Mr. Schwall"s father, John Schwall. Mr. and Mrs. John N. VanderVries of 968 Pine street, with their son, Jacx, who returned Wednesday after spend- ing the summer in Kansas, will motor to Sister Bay, Wis., for the Labor day week-end. ---- Mr. and Mrs. M. E.
