HOYBURN THEATRE "Battling Butler," Buster Keaton's latest picture, holds the screen at the Hoyburn this week-end, a fistic come- dy which has been praised by ring pro- fessionals as the most realistic ever screened. NORSHORE THEATRE Robert Kane, producer of "The Reckless Lady," "Bluebeard's Seven Wives" and "The Dancer of Paris," stands sponsor for a comedy-melo- drama, "The Wilderness Woman," his latest First National production, which will be presented at the Norshore theatre next Sunday for a three-day run. Mr. Kane has brought a well known trio--Aileen Pringle, Lowell Sherman and Chester Conklin--together to play the principal roles of the picture. "The Wilderness Woman" offers Miss Pringle her first character com- edy role, something entirely different from anything she has attempted here- tofore. In the supporting cast are Henry Vigart and Robert Cain, while not the least important member of the cast is a bear cub, Miss Pringle's con- stant companion through much of the picture's amusing action. Marshall Neilan's newest picture, "Diplomacy," and absorbing mystery drama in which Blanche Sweet is starred, is now playing. NEW EVANSTON THEATRE For the first time in the history of the New Evanston theater Tom Mix and his marvelous horse, Tony, will be on the silver sheet at the local play- house next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The feature will be "No Man's Gold," rated the greatest of the Mix productions. This will be a first run showing. The current offering at the New Evanston is "The Road to Mandalay," featuring Lon Chaney, who plays the part of a sinister Oriental dive keeper in a mystery drama of the Orient. Louis Moran is the heroine and the cast also includes Owen Moore, Henry B. Walthall and others of note. Mrs. Morris Allen, 872 Pine street, has returned from Los Angeles, Cal., where she was called by the sudden death of her mother. Sign W. H.
