Ne September 18, 1926 WINNETKA TALK Board Takes More Time To Consider Beacon Plans Plans for an ornamental structure to be built around the new Kenilworth water tower were held over for fur- ther consideration at the meeting of the village board last Monday evening. The ornamental structure may take the form of a combined air beacon for aviators and a memorial to the Kenil- worth men who died in the air service during the war, according to plans of a certain group, lead by Richard V. Murison, an architect and a resident of the village. It is planned to secure the co-operation of William P. Mac- Cracken of Winnetka, newly appoint- ed to the post of assistant secretary of commerce, in charge of commercial aviation, for the proposed beacon. Mrs. Fred D.
