ry October 2, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 37 Hanville-Jones Wedding Event of Saturday Evening The marriage of Miss Doris Han- ville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Hanville, 840 Foxdale avenue, Win- netka, to Edward A. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Jones, 1224 Greg- ory avenue, Wilmette, took place, Sat- urday, September 25, at 8:30 o'clock at the bride's home. The Rev. Francis C. Stifler of Wilmette performed the ceremony. The bride was gowned in white georgette, with a veil and orange blos- soms. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley and white roses. Mrs. Carl Peterson of Chicago, who attended the bride as matron of honor, wore peach colored georgette, and Miss Edith Bartelmann of Green Bay road, Glencoe, maid of honor, wore pink georgette. Little Betty Cleveland, the flower girl, was dressed in pink georg- ette. The ceremony took place before an altar of palms and ferns, and music was furnished by the Misses Agnes and Lillian Pringle of Chicago, who played the violin and piano, and Hans Baldorf, who played the cello. A reception followed the ceremony, which was attended by about fifty rel- atives and close friends. After a motor trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Jones will make their home in the Linden Crest apartments in Wilmette. Mrs. Jones was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority at Northwestern university, while Mr. Jones attended both Northwestern and the University of Illinois. Eloise Fleagler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fleagler, 952 Pine street, was hostess to a number of her little friends from 4 until 7, Saturday, Sep- tember 25, in celebration of her eighth birthday. iyi Tuesday Mrs. Whipple Jacobs and Mrs. Charles A. Kerr, Jr., entertained at luncheon at the former's home in Winnetka, in honor of Miss Sarah Bennett, whose marriage to Gordon McKeldin will be an event of Saturday, October 9.
