RE TT In New Parish Dr. Gilbert Wilmette Parish Methodist Episcopal Stansell, pastor of the church since 1921, will take leave of the village to assume charge of the first Methodist church of Elgin, Ill. A reception was given in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Stansell at the Wilmette Woman's club Tuesday evening of this week. HONORED AT BANQUET Mrs. Edward Bemis, mother of Wal- { ter Bemis, 682 Ardsley road, was guest of honor at a banquet given at the Hotel Sherman Friday, October 8, on the fourth anniversary of her term as the only woman member of the Cook County Board of Commissioners.
