In this time he discovered four islands, now known as Brock, Borden, Laugheed, and Meig- hen, and established the principle of "living off of the land." Stefansson is a brilliant and successful writer and is the author of four books and a great many maga- zine articles. He is also a fascinating and instructive lecturer. held a] "Glad to Meet You": Queen to Milan Lusk As Queen Marie of Roumania, escorted by diplomats, social lions, and detectives, arrived at a recep- tion in New York last week, she stopped her procession and extend- ed her royal hand to Milan Lusk, who is in New York filling an en- gagement. "Oh, how do you do! I am so glad to see you," the queen exclaimed. "Mr. Lusk,"'--to the others--"played for me twice in my house." Mr. Lusk bowed and kissed her extend- ed hand in true courtier style. Prin- cess Iliana and Prince Nicholas recognized Mr. Lusk and greetings were exchanged. Then the proces- sion moved on to the main room where the reception, given for the queen by Ira Nelson Morris, the Swedish minister, was being held. Mr. Lusk will return to his home in Wilmette Sunday. PAINT | Center | St. | of all kinds.
