Here are the figures for the whole school: honor roll, boys, thirty-three, girls, seventy-one; honor- able mention, boys, thirty-nine, girls, sixty-three; delinquent list, boys, ninety, girls, thirty-six. There are six girls who received an average of four, five seniors and a freshman, while |there are only two boys, both seniors. Here's something else. In spite of the fact that there are fewer senior | girls than any other group in school, they have an overwhelmingly large number on the honor roll, twenty- eight, against the junior girls' sixteen and the senior boys' ten. Besides that they have sixteen with honorable men- Jes and only two on the delinquent 1st. Bill is a busy man, and has little time to go about petting stray puppies, but he had noticed this dog and one day when he went out on a job found the canine wagging her tail violently and sitting in the back of his car. So she went riding, and seemed to enjoy it. But it happened that the car broke down some distance from the village, and a wrecking car came to haul it in. To express her thanks, and to defend the man who had befriended her, the dog refused to allow the mechanics to touch Bill's car. She barked and snarled, and dashed about madly de- fending her benefactor's property. It wasn't until Bill spoke to her that she would let the garage men haul his car in. And now Bill says that he sure has found a loyal friend, who is wear- ing a brass-studded harness, without any license number attached, and that someone has lost a good, faithful dog. PLAN CAMP FIRE SALE The Camp Fire Girls of the Winnet- ka groups are to have a food sale in the Assembly room of the Community House, Saturday morning, December 11.
