Olewine, of 732 Park ave- nue, Wilmette, is building for Edgar Crilly, of 375 Sheridan road, Winnetka, a seven-room English type residence at the southwest corner of Fig and Locust streets, Winnetka, which it is said will be placed on the market at $35,000, or may possibly be for rent. The lot is 77 by 190 feet. The house is of pressed brick and stone and will have three bath rooms and an attached garage. The walls and floors of the bath rooms are of tile. Kenney Buys Residence in Wilmette John R. Kenney, president of the Chicago Tank Installation Company, Inc, has purchased the attractive Colonial home located at 1709 Wash- ington avenue, Wilmette, from A. J. Linehan, and will take possession on or about January 10. The house is of face brick construction containing eight rooms, breakfast room, two baths and a two-car garage. E. C. PURCHASE HOME SITE Mrs. Helen Breeden Harris, of Ev- anston, has purchased through F. H. Gathercoal, of 1213 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette, a lot in the Franz subdi- vision west of Greeley avenue, Wil- mette, on which she expects to build, either this winter or early spring. William Boll Erects New Residence in Wilmette John Selzer, residing at Hibbard and Happ roads, is planning to move to Wilmette in the spring when his new home at 1601 Walnut avenue, is com- pleted. William Boll, well-known Wilmette contractor, residing at 1505 Wilmette avenue, broke ground for Mr. Selzer's new residence this week, and will push construction work as rapidly as weath- er conditions will permit, with a view of having the work completed by March 1. The plans call for a seven-room colonial, with side entrance frontage on Sixteenth street, the lot having a fifty-foot frontage on Walnut avenue. There will be a large sun room and [sleeping porch. Construction will be brick veneer on frame. There will be a detached two-car garage. The im- provements, including the fine corner lot, will cost around $20,000. Complete Building of Church Parish House Gustave P. Kroschel, of Reinwaldt avenue, Wilmette, has just completed the Methodist church parish house in Glenview, a six-room brick English Colonial, costing $16,000. He is also just starting a six room brick veneer residence of the English type, which he will have ready for the market in the early spring. It will be offered at $16,000. The location of this house iis just across the street from the Swain Nelson nursery in the west part of the village, on Glenview road. Mrs. P. W. Trudeau of 588 Arbor Vitae road returned Wednesday, De- cember 8 from a three weeks' visit in the East.
