Several of the students enrolled in this class have come from Illinois, Northwestern and other uni- versities, and eight are college gradu- ates. It is interesting to note that among the many students with advanced standing there are four foreign mis- sionaries, home on furlough for addi- tional training. The members of the cast show an unusual amount of talent in their por- trayal of the various characters, and their ready abandon to the spirit of fun and frolic which pervades the waking moments of the two mischiev- ous small boys about whom the play centers, gives the entire performance a natural and child-like atmosphere, it is stated. Miss Kathryn Reintges of West Palm beach, Fla., will take the part of Tommy, and Miss Gladys Towne of Waterloo, Ia., that of Johnny. U. Finds Registration Boost An increased attendance at the Col- lege of Liberal Arts of Northwestern university is now indicated for the sec- ond semester, which started last Mon- day, registration day. At last reports new students applying for admission numbered 150, most of whom are to be freshmen. With the usual migration from university to university among upper classmen, the entire number of new students may go much higher. However, a goodly number of students are dropping out for one or another reason. This jis said to be invariably true at this time of the year. There are always a small number of so- called "flunks" and also a few who drop out for personal reasons, such as illness or low finances. But the net increase in Liberal Arts is now expected to be as large as the facil- ities of the Evanston campus will per- mit, something over 2200 students. This year, as has been true for sev- eral years of the Evanston depart- ments, limitations of facilities largely controls the number of students who will be registered, provided credits are acceptable. ENJOY LEADERSHIP COURSE The men enrolled in the course in boy leadership being held under the auspices of the Boy Scouts of America, North Shore area, each Monday night, are enjoying the course and gaining some valuable program material and a better background of boy understand- ing, it is stated. The next session will be held Monday night, February 14, 7:30 p. m., at the Highland Park Pres- byterian church, All men are invited to attend.
