Hanley is assisted in the spring drill by his brother, Pat Hanley, who was his chief aid at Haskell. Coach Hanley plans to put in eight weeks of steady drill this spring in order to have his men in shape for the big fall campaign. Hanley also has the assistance of Tim Lowry, famous Purple player of several seasons ago. The new coach is principally engaged in teaching the players his new type of football with which he had such unusual success during five years at the Haskell Indian school. His brother, Pat, was also a famous player and has been a great aid in teaching football to the: Indians at Haskell. The two brothers played to- gether at Washington State, and have been closely connected in the coaching profession since graduating from col- lege. La Salle, Newest Car, Is Placed on Display The new La Salle, companion car to Cadillac, which is manufactured by the Cadillac Motor Car company, is the feature of the 1927 Cadillac spring salon. The salon held on the main floor of the Pure Oil building (formerly the Jeweler's building) at Wacker drive and Wabash avenue, will continue to March 19. For the first time in twenty-six years Cadillac brings out a new automobile which, in itself, has aroused much in- terest among local car-owners. The salon exhibits include a num- ber of Fleetwood, Brunn and Fischer custom and standard bodies on Cadillac | Associate Alumnae to Be Taken on Tour of Downtown Campus A conducted tour of the Northwest- ern university buildings on McKinlock campus will be a feature of the annual spring luncheon of the Alumnae of Northwestern university which will be held Saturday, April 9. Luncheon will be served at 1 at the Chicago College club before adjourn- ment is made to the downtown campus. The time and place have been selected with the particular accommodation of employed members in mind, and it is hoped that many of the alumnae will take advantage of this opportunity to view the new campus in the conducted tour. Mrs. Carleton Pendleton is president of the organizatien which is composed of all women students who have. at any time attended the university in any of its schools. Associate Chicago Junior School to Give Benefit March 25 Paul Ash will appear in person and bring his entertainers to the annual party on Friday evening, March 25, which the Chicago Junior school is giv- ing at the Drake hotel. There will be dancing and cards. The proceeds of the party are to go toward a fund to build more cottages at Chicago Junior school, which is lo- cated near Elgin. The school hopes to huild in order to accommodate more boys and to care for girls from broken homes too. A bridge party was given for the North End branch last Saturday eve- ning.
