"Scotty," who has had four years' experience in municipal affairs as a member of the Winnetka police de- partment, stated he had been consider- ing very strongly the matter of either heading a new ticket himself or or- ganizing one which would represent his ideals of local government, namely, that of "administering the affairs of the village for the benefit of al' the people and at a saving that would lower taxes." But, he said, press of private busi- ness has made necessary the abandon- ment of the idea of running this year, although he may yet decide to come out for the office of marshal and col- lector. "Scotty" is a landscape gardener and proprietor of the Black & Green Cab company.
